About

For me success means fulfilment with wellbeing, and this is why I do the coaching work. I believe that to be able to call something a success, it needs to feel like one!

For a long time I felt unfulfilled in my corporate career and pushed it further anyway, hoping the next promotion will feel like fulfilling achievement. I did not have time to consider if what I was chasing was going to feel like a success, or maybe it simply didn’t occur to me to take time to reflect on that. 

Whenever work feels really good and I get in the flow, there’s a risk that I forget myself and my own needs. It feels so good, so productive, so fulfilling! And it’s great, as long as it does not consume you for too long, as long as you’re able to take regular breaks and feel it as energising, but not exhausting. 

There were times, I forgot myself in my work. I forgot to eat and ended up killing my sudden hunger with trash food, I forgot to move my body and ended up with backpain, I forgot to be there for my loved ones and it hurt my relationships. 

These experiences did not feel like success, even as they might look like one for others. And sometimes you need a thinking partner to be able to recognise that and do something about it.
